Netflix’s latest series Emily in Paris has made us fall in love with this city. The series is about Emily Cooper, an American social media manager sent abroad to work at Savoir, a luxury marketing agency in Paris.
Emily In Paris Film Locations
Emily’s apartment is in the Latin Quarter. She chose this area as there is so much to do. Boulangerie Moderne is where Emily picks up her favorite pains au chocolat. While Emily’s neighbor Gabriel works at the Italian restaurant Les Deux Compere in the series but in reality, the restaurant is named Terra Nera, the perfect place to dine with friends.
Place de Valois
Emily works in the marketing company Savoir, tuck in the quiet courtyard in the corner from Palais Royal.
Jardin du Palais Royal
The Jardin du Palais Royal is a small garden within walking distance to Savoir. This is where Emily meets Mindy and spends most of her lunch breaks here. The park often missed by visitors is filled with contemporary-style sculptures, a fountain, and lime trees. It is the perfect spot to enjoy the outdoors in Paris.
Pont Alexandre III
Pont Alexandre III is one of Paris most breathtaking bridge, decorated with Art Nouveau lamp posts, nymphs and winged horses, and overlooks the Seine. The location is where Savoir films the risqué perfume ad for client Antoine Lambert. If you are spending the day exploring Paris, this is a bridge you don’t want to miss. It’s the perfect Instagramable backdrop, day or night.
Le Cafe de L’Homme
Antonie’s perfume launch was held at Le Cafe de L’Homme. This place has amazing views of the Eiffel Tower and breathtaking at night. The menu offers traditional French cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients, but make sure you insist on a table on the terrace. This restaurant is pricy, so an alternative will be Montparnasse Tower. The 56th floor observation deck offers panoramic views of Paris including the Eiffel Tower.
Emily’s client Hastens asked her to sleep under the start at this very spot. The place is in Montmarte Paris, called Place Dalida. It’s between the intersection of Rue Girardon and Rue de l’Abreuvoir. There are plenty of bistros and cafes to enjoy.
Atelier des Lumieres
Atelier des Lumieres is a popular art centre using light, sound and video to create a unique way of experiencing art. It’s one of the things you won’t want to miss In Paris. Emily had an awkward third wheel date with Camille and Gabriel at a Van Gogh exhibit.
Chateau de Sonnay
Emily spends a beautiful weekend at Chateau de Sonnay in the Beaujolais wine region of France. This is where she visits Camille’s family home to recruit her family business as a new client for Savoir.
Palais Garnier is home to Paris ballet and opera performances. The grand staircase, gold painted grand foyer, auditorium and museum is something you won’t want to miss. You can visit Palais Garnier during the day for guided or self-guided tours of the building. This is where Emily goes to see Swan Lake and where she breaks up with Professor Thomas.
