Avoid ongoing disruptive protest in Hong Kong

Guest in Hong Kong are advised to avoid on going protest across the Sai Wan, Sheung Wan, Central and Wan Chai districts, which have spread out from an earlier gathering in Chater Garden (Central).

Police have fired tear gas in Sai Wan and near Western market (Sheung Wan) in an attempt to disperse crowds. Shortly after 2000 hours (local time), MTR (Mass Transit Railway) services to Sai Ying Pun, HKU and Kennedy Town stations were suspended, with other Island Line train services running at three-minute intervals between Chai Wan and Sheung Wan stations.

The unauthorised demonstrations are part of the campaign against a controversial extradition bill.
